The Documentation Center is housed in Ca’ Milla, a small building in Ghesc restored thanks to action 2.2 “Protection and enhancement of rural architecture and landscape” of the PNRR.
It contains over 400 publications (monographs, as well as grey literature and periodicals) in fifteen languages. Several works are of rare availability.
It is a specialized collection: the main topics are vernacular architecture worldwide and the construction and landscape of the Alps. It is primarily designed to support the educational and research activities carried out by groups and individuals within the “Ghesc Laboratory Village” project.
The Center also preserves documents on the history of the Canova Foundation and books donated to the foundation by individuals who have participated in its activities over time.
The cataloging of the bibliographic heritage is still ongoing. Consultation is possible by appointment (email to: info@fondazionecanova.com).
