Where we are
Fondazione Canova is based in the Ghesc Laboratory Village, located in the hamlet of Ghesio in Montecrestese, in the province of Verbania (Piedmont).
The village is located a few kilometers from Domodossola, nestled in the alpine landscape of Val d’Ossola.
How to reach us
To reach the headquarters, you must follow the road that goes up to the hamlet of Croppomarcio. From here, a short path of about five minutes on foot leads to the village of Ghesc.
By train: the nearest train station is Domodossola, well connected with the main Italian and Swiss cities.
By plane: the nearest airport is Milan Malpensa, from which it is possible to reach Domodossola with rail connections and the Alibus service.
Local public transport: from Domodossola it is possible to reach Ghesc using the local bus service in the direction of Valle Antigorio/Formazza. Once arrived at the Oria stop, the route continues on foot along the path that crosses the village of Canova. A walk of about 20 minutes allows one to reach the village of Ghesc directly.
